Wedding
It was the best day of our lives, everything was beautiful and we had the greatest time ever! We hope that everyone who attended did too! Check out pictures from our digital camera. Email us any other pictures you’d like us to post! We’ve already received a few from family members.

We want to say thank you to everyone who helped us pull our wedding together. The staff at Events By Romy did a beautiful job with the flowers and ceremony decor, and without them, we would’ve been pulling our hairout trying to pull all the vendors together! Look out for their new website coming soon!
We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful and intimate venue. Paradise Gardens looked like a dream the second we saw it fully decorated. The staff does a great job of maintaining its natural beauty.
Michelle and Annie from Studio Z were amazing photographers to work with and we were pleasantly surprised to have another photographer cover our wedding! Michelle took our engagement photos, and the 11×17 she set up at the Guest Book table was in a gorgeous rustic wood frame. We’re so glad to have picked a casual photo of us laughing – that’s how we felt throughout the whole wedding!
Joe Irwin was our officiant and we instantly connected with him when we first met to discuss what we wanted for our wedding ceremony. We wanted our ceremony to feel very intimate, casual and light-hearted. He had wonderful readings that really spoke to who we are and what we feel marriage is all about.
The cake was stunning, and delicious! We went with Elegance on Display as our cake baker and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. It fit in perfectly with our motif and looked fabulous in the gazebo, and all over our faces 
DJ Mike Marsh who was a breeze to work with and did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor! We have great pictures of everyone out on the floor for the Cha Cha Slide and other fun numbers. We had so much fun picking our ceremony and reception music selections and hope you all enjoyed the musical entertainment!
Although it was completely gone by the end of the night, Lesley Angel did makeup for the Bride, the Mother of the bride, and 3 of the bridesmaids. Bridesmaid Kristin VanFleet had her makeup done at the MAC counter at the Carlsbad Macy’s. She also did her own hair and even helped the Mother of the Bride with her hair. The girls at Rumors Salon, Jeanette and Julia, did the rest of the girls’ hair. Gorgeous!
The Bride’s attire was from the Maggie Sottero collection and the bridesmaid’s dresses from the Dessy collection. The Groom, groomsmen’s, and ushers’ Barongs were purchased from Elvie’s Boutique in National City, CA and pants purchased at Macy’s.
Last but not least: save-the-dates, invitations, programs, guest book, seating chart, table name cards, favors, and name tags were designed/assembled by Jason and Grace Blackburn. Table runners were created by the Mother of the Bride, Geneber Petras, and our friend, Nena Dukovac, sewed them all!
We will post our vows and videos as soon as we get a chance. Hopefully after 4th of July weekend they will be available!

Babe, There are millions of reasons why I love you.
I will just go over a few of them because if I name them all we will be up here all night.
Babe I love your incredible smile because every time I see you smile it fills my heart with so much joy and happiness.
I love your amazing laugh because every time I hear you laugh its makes me laugh.
Babe I absolutely love your huge heart because you support me and stand by me in everything I do.
I love your remarkable mind because your mind is always going full speed and I can tell just by looking in your beautiful eyes exactly what you are thinking.
I love your breathtaking eyes because every time I look at them i can see your love from your heart.
I love your glamorous face because your beauty takes my breath away.
You’re absolutely the most beautiful woman to me and always will be.
Babe I love your determination in life When you are determined to do something you give it your all. For example , you were determined to fit in your wedding dress so you went to the gym almost everyday before the wedding. If I did not know you i would think you were training for the Olympics.
I love your passion in life, school, family, career, and our relationship. You always give your best at everything you do. I love your passion and I want to share that passion with you forever.
I just love how you live everyday to the fullest like there is no tomorrow.

Grace’s Vows
Honey, you are the kindest person I’ve ever met.
From you, I’ve learned that there is something about a kind heart that can change the world around us. In you, I’ve found everything I wish I was. I wish I had your kindness, your friendliness, and your humbleness.
Together, I feel like nothing can stop us. Everyday, I realize that the little things you do for me make all the difference in how I feel. I love coming to see you at your work every morning. Just to see your face light up as you look at me walk through the door immediately puts a smile on my face. When you know exactly what I want for dinner, when you pick out the perfect dress for me, when you put all my things in my car for me while I’m getting dressed for work, or when you know what makes me upset and what makes me smile, I know that I couldn’t live the rest of my life without you.
You put everything before yourself, and now, I will do the same for you today as we begin a new chapter in our life together.
With everything in my heart, I take you to be my husband. As always, I promise to stand by you in everything your heart desires. I promise to continue learning from you with an open heart and an open mind. I promise to always look for the good in things. I promise never to go to sleep angry at you.
