May 31st, 2009Monofino Fashions now has a website
May 29th, 2009Once I get my blog going on GraceBlackburn.com, I promise I’ll stop posting work-related things on here. Just recently, Jerry over at Accent on Design hired me to work on a website for his client, Monofino Fashions. The owner is a woman from Peru who creates designer clothing using pima cotton and baby alpaca, and everyone knows how soft baby alpaca is. Her website has a very vibrant feel to reflect her culture and the nature of her designs. Check out some of her products online at MonofinoFashions.com and contact her if you’re interested in purchasing any of her fabulous handmade items.
For daily updates on what Jason and I are doing, you can follow us on Twitter. I know, we’re not that interesting, but every now and then we post interesting articles or share tidbits of helpful information

Pre-Drywall Walkthrough
May 27th, 2009Last Thursday we went down to our KB Home for a pre-drywall walkthrough with Steve, who is very nice and explained every detail of the structure of our home to us. It’s just under 3 months now, and the insulation and drywall are up. This week they are scheduled to stucco the exterior of our building, and we’ll make sure to go back in a couple of weeks and take some pictures!
Wine to Water
May 5th, 2009The organization, Wine to Water, is one of my favorites. They’re an international aid organization that provides clean water to those in communities around the world and the founder, Doc Hendley, has been selected as a CNN Hero. Visit their website to find out how you can support their cause, and watch CNN’s video special:
