Jason & Grace

We’ve been in our new home for just about 2 1/2 months and are starting to feel settled in. We’ve still got a ways to go on our list of needed furniture items, but we have what we need for everyday things. KB Home is almost finished with our complex – scheduled to be completed by the end of the month. Thank goodness! That will definitely make getting in and out much easier, and we’ll have our quiet weekends back since the crew has been working every day and there’s always some kind of truck coming in and out, drilling and clanking noises, and less guest parking available. But, none of that can take away from that oh so wonderful feeling of having our own place It’s so crazy to think that we were married not too long ago, wow, time flies by fast!

We’ve come a long way in our journey to homeownership, and we’re nearing the finish line! We had our final walkthrough a few days ago, and now we’re just waiting on the final docs to sign later today. Although we’ve waited for months for them to finish our new home, now it seems that everything is moving faster than the speed of light. We’ve been packing for the past couple of weeks, and we’re now in that limbo state of figuring how much more we can pack without having to want to dig through boxes looking for things we need. Just a few more days, and then we can pack it all up!

Today is our 1-year Anniversary! Jason was so sweet to send me flowers at work today.

Devin is on his way to middle school.
